Can Ideate BIMLink be Used to Rename Levels in a Revit Project?

Yes, absolutely!

On a recent support case that I assisted with, the design team was tasked with changing the Level names in a Revit Project that was already in the CA Phase-but this meant that hundreds of room numbers and door numbers would also need to change because the naming conventions were related.


A task that would have normally taken hours took only minutes using Ideate BIMLink. With Ideate BIMLink data editing can be done using the power of Microsoft Excel outside of the Revit model-which also meant that that the designer who was doing this didn’t have to worry about workset permissions on a workshared model that five people were working on.
